The Benefits of Apprenticeship
Registered Apprenticeship is a powerful tool that is changing Maryland’s economy, building new talent for its businesses, and improving the lives of its workers. Apprenticeship blends paid work with skills-based training, ensuring that Marylanders have the essential skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to keep Maryland moving forward.Thousands of Maryland employers are already seeing the benefits of Registered Apprenticeship, whether that be improved employee retention, better training outcomes, or improved workplace diversity. Yet many employers still are not familiar with what Registered Apprenticeship can offer.
